Wide Receiver Rankings

The Wide Receiver position has seen a massive drop-off in production, as you're no longer getting 8-10 receivers with 150+ targets each season. While we no longer have that very deep Tier-1 level of receivers, the position is extremely deep from Rounds 2 - Rounds 9.

1) Devante Adams-

After Michael Thomas record setting year, I look for a bounce back candidate of sorts to take back the WR1 thrown. The Packers added no additional weapons for Aaron Rodgers this off-season only further solidifying my stance that he is the WR1 this season. After being banged up much of 2019, Adams is likely to lead the NFL in touchdowns and targets this upcoming season.

Over his final 10 games of the season, Adams accounted for 33.4% of the Packers targets, 34.4% of the receptions and 40.5% of the receiving yards. If I am unsure of my pick in the first round due to a potential contract holdout or injury, I am turning to Adams as my sure fire pick. I would like to get him at the end of the first or early second which is the area that he usually is going in.

2) Michael Thomas-

With back-to-back seasons of 125+ receptions, Thomas is the safer of the two options at the top of the Wide Receiver rankings. Drew Brees is extremely efficient as Thomas has caught over 75% of his targets in three of his four years in the NFL.

Tiers 2 - 4

It is a great year to start with two bell-cow backs, as you can load up on stud receivers in the 3rd-6th rounds of your draft. There are also several deep sleeper options that will help build your depth should you take priority players at every position along the way instead of waiting on QB and TE.
